Common questions
What happens to commas inside quoted values?
Properly quoted CSV fields are kept intact. If your file uses semicolons or tabs, change the delimiter before converting.
Are values escaped against SQL injection?
Quotes are escaped for the generated statements, but you should still review the output. For untrusted data, use a prepared import script instead.
Can it infer column types?
It makes a reasonable guess from the values. Dates, decimals and nullable columns should always be checked manually.
