What a disposable address can and cannot unlock
Streaming trials usually require an email and a payment method. A disposable address solves the first and does nothing for the second — and that is where the real decision lives.
What a disposable address gives you
- A working inbox for the confirmation link.
- No marketing mail in your real inbox after the trial.
- No account to clean up.
What it does not give you
Billing, receipts, plan changes and password resets all follow the account, not the email. If the address expires while the subscription is active, you may struggle to cancel or recover it. Trials that convert into paid plans should use an email you can always reach.
A cleaner approach
Use a temporary inbox when you are only exploring what a service offers. The moment money is involved, switch to a permanent address (or an alias that forwards to it) so receipts and cancellation reminders reach you.
