TmpMailer is a temporary email service that generates disposable email addresses to protect your privacy online. This privacy policy explains how the Chrome Extension handles your data.
The TmpMailer Chrome Extension collects and stores the following data locally on your device:
We do NOT collect: Your name, email address, browsing history, cookies, passwords, or any personal information.
All data is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. API communications are encrypted via HTTPS. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data in transit.
The extension communicates with the TmpMailer API at tmpmailer.com to generate emails and fetch messages. The API is governed by the same privacy standards.
Generated emails are stored locally until you delete them or clear your extension data. Server-side emails are automatically cleaned after 20 days of inactivity.
You can clear all extension data at any time by right-clicking the extension icon → "Manage Extension" → "Clear Storage". This will remove all locally stored emails and session data.
